I'm a Fish!
Hi Divers:
Now that all my holiday presents are bought, and I even gave my neighbors their presents already, I can sit back and finally enjoy the holidays!
So today I took out the Christmas Cd's and started getting into the music!
My two all time favorites are:

Little Drummer Boy
&
The Carol of the Bells

What's yours?

by The Trans-Siberian Orch.

I love that music.

Dumplin'

My all-time favorite Christmas songs are "The Christmas Song" sung by Nat King Cole and "The Little Drummer Boy" sung by Bing Crosby and David Bowie.

But there are sooo many others that are great!!

with Chad. Anything by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra is just incredible.

This one may be kind of corny, but I also really like Elvis' "Melakalilkimaka" (sp?).

Little Drummer Boy is one of my favorites! But here's one that recently caught my eye.

Maui Christmas Song
(To the tune of 'Chestnuts Roasting...')

Lobsters cooking under island stars,
Warm breeze tick-le-ing my nose,
Yule tide carols being sung in beach bars,
Folks in shoes with open toes.

I don't need cold weather or a drift of snow,
Just to make the season bright.
Want to be... where my suntan can grow,
And walk an island beach tonight.

Even Santa wants to stay
He'll leave his big, red, heavy coat out on the sleigh.
And on Christmas Eve... I'd scuba dive.
Until the bar-b-que at five.

And so I'm dreaming of an island trip,
And if you wish you were there too...
With warm moonlit nights... and a rum drink to sip...
Warmest wishes... Island wishes... To You!

silver bells, deck the halls, and winter wonderland

Asta1227 once bubbled...
"The Little Drummer Boy" sung by Bing Crosby and David Bowie.

That's one of mine too. Very cool. Available on an awesome CD called "The Edge of Christmas". Lot's of "New Wave" alternative artist Christmas songs. Imagine "The Pretenders" the "Ramones"
and "Queen" doing Christmas songs.

Cashing In On Christmas! By the young ones band (forget their name).

Well at least they were honest.....

Still feels more like Christmas now it's snowing!

I like John Lennon's "Happy Christmas (war is over)" but my favorite traditional song is probably "let it snow".

I've got South Park, Mr. Hankey's Christmas Classics playing. Uh... certainly different. I could play a few of them in public without too much concern.
