what is semi-dry

And I stay mostly dry most of the time. I have come out of the water bone-dry more than once, and I've come out pretty wet sometimes. It depends on how careful I am about the seals when putting on the suit, and how vigrous I've been in the water.

Peeing in either though would be bad news. When you get out of the water in either suit what water has entered the suit collects in the legs above the leg seals and it's real easy to visualize what would happen if you peed in the suit.

That is the answer to my question, "Can you pee in a semi-dry suit?"
Sounds like for cold water you should either go dry (and deal with having to wear a diaper!) or, from what I've been able to read so far, wear 14-21 mm of wetsuit on your core and deal with buoyancy issues from compression of that much wetsuit as well as feeling like the Michelin Man on the surface. Hmm.
