I have a titan lx supreme regulator setup and i get a very dry mouth while diving. What regulators don't give you dry mouth and good for very cold diving? I do at least two days of ice diving every year.
I was looking at the new EOS but i don't know if that regulator gives you dry mouth.

Buy a rebreather :) Seriously, make sure you are properly hydrated before your dive. This has never been an issue for me, but any regulator w/ a metal second stage body or metal heat synchs, etc. inside the body will do a better job of capturing consdensation as you exhale which can be picked up on your next breath. It's not going to make a large difference, but it can help. There is also the Apollo bio-filter, which essentially adds moisture downstream from the 1st stage. I'd never put one on my regs but to each his own.

Mares proton or abyss metals. Metal second stages deal with dry mouth better.

Buy a reg that breathes wet...

I cured my own drymouth with religious hydration before every dive...
If that doesn't work, try the metal second stage regs...
If that doesn't work, try the Apollo Bio-Filter...
If that doesn't work, I've known divers that have brought along Jolly Rogers to pop in their mouths during the dive...

The bio filter are about 170 bucks, allot less then buying a new reg. But they then to a bit bulky when attaching to the 1st stage.

I have noted that diving Nitrox, I never have dry a mouth. No idea as to why, but it seems to work for me and the Miss's She did use a rental Sherwood once, and she swore by that for curing dry mouth as well. But now we dive exclusively Nitrox, it is no problem at all.

I have a Sherwood Oasis that has metal bars that collect the condensation off the breath & returns it during the inhale. It does a great job of at least making dry mouth not so bad. I also have a Scubapro MK25/S600 & haven't had to much trouble with it either.

Sherwood Oasis is the way to go. "Sherwood has exclusively developed two, second-stage moisture-retention fins for the Oasis that keep your mouth cool and comfortable all-dive long." (Sherwood Scuba Website)

I sell the gear, and personally use one for all my dives. Very Smooth Breathing.

If interested in one, check us out. Woods And Water Too's Website

Thanks

Here is another vote for the sherwood.

I had an Oasis II for many years - no dry mouth

now that I have a MK25/600 as my primary I do notice it a little on longer dives.
