I just had a thought (it doesn't happen often).

Imagine you're in a plane sat next to a world renowned diver.

The plane is going to crash and you're dying to ask the diver one diving related question before your ascent to heaven or descent to hell.

What would the question be? (diving related only remember!)

Mine would be to Andrew Georgitsis.

How did you manage to hide the strings (from camera) on the 5th D videos? :)

bro, they wouldn't give a poop about your question. there going to be freaking out about DIEING IN A PLANE CRASH!!!.....

i would ask if they know how to fly a plane

Technically, this meets the requirement of being diving-related, because if the plane is over water, you'll be diving (sort of) if he/she doesn't know how to fly a plane. :D

It's a flight with armed air marshals on board :)

"Can I borrow your parachute?"

A few weeks later a classified ad will appear in my local paper:

"FOR SALE: One parachute. Only used once. Small stain. Best offer.".

Two questions:

Does this count as an OOA emergency?

Will DAN cover me if we crash into the ocean?
