Hey Waterproof,

First off, no-body loves their Waterproof wetsuits more than I do.....
BUT,
I received
my W2 7mm yesterday and was puzzled by the lack of Hex-Tec interior lining in it.

I've attached photos showing all my WP suits.

First photo shows;
- far left suit is my 2009 3mm with the ole black lining. Really not bad stuff.
- Next is my 2012 3.5mm W3 with Hex.
- Next to the right is my 5mm W2 with Hex.
- On the end is the new W2 7mm

2nd photo is interior of W2 7mm with No Hex............ looks like the ole lining but just orange.

In my .02 the Hex is not really warmed to speak of, but getting in and out of the Hex is far easier than the ole lining and my Hex suits dry about twice as fast as the ole one.

I double checked the WaterProof website and all product descriptions say Hex-Tec for all 3 suits ?????????

What's Up with no Hex on the 7mm ?

Regards,
Bob C.
the Orange guy !

You're right. That's not what it's supposed to look like. The hex-tec on your other suits looks like the hex-tec on the interior of MY 7mm W2, not the interior of your W2. I hope it gets fixed as it is a great wet suit.

I spoke to Waterproof yesterday and was told they are going back to the plush style lining over the Hex-Tec material.

OK

I don't suppose they told you why, did they? How much did you pay for the suit? I hope they didn't cut the hex-tec from any future designs.

I told the lady that was a mistake to go back to plush... Hex-tec really makes getting in and out much easier to me..
She said some folks say the opposite...
