What does MOF stand for

I know padi says to pull it down around your throat but man that chocks. So after years of diving and putting my mask on my forehead i was in rough water put my mask up instead of around my neck and bam it is now on the wreck we just dove. Luckily we had extra tanks my buddy bounced back down grabbed it and i have it back. Now i take it off totally and hang on to it or clip it to my bc.

neck to short not a weight thing. when i pull it down it is against my chest and pushes up under my chin

I actually had some idiot the quarry once ask me if I was in distress because I put my mask on my head while floating about 15 feet from the dock while waiting for the dock area to clear of a class getting ready to submerge.

So, did we rule that a unresponsive diver may have pushed his mask back on his forehead and may just be floating out there?

MOF, not me. Although the real reason why I do not is I'm a cheap (blank) who does not want to risk losing a mask. Yes, even surf entries, (if I do not try going under the surf) my mask is set around my neck.

MOF rules, NMOF is dumb. I apparently never got the memo from PadI that MOF meant I nedded to be rescued. If the DM is pretty then go ahead and rescue, otherwise, leave me alone, I am doing fine laughing at all the NMOF folks flopping and splashing and kicking a and snorkel breathing out of Star Trek looking snorkels with water seperators built in as if a liitle saltwater was going to hurt them or something silly like that. Frankly, it is a free country, free to be MOF, free to live as you choose, fee to think NMOF is dumb and dangerous. N
