ok so i am now looking at a Olympus SP350 and Ikelite 6132.35 Underwater TTL Housing and will get a strobe later will this be a good set up

On another post, Ryan from ReefPhoto suggests that combo for use with TTL flash. You can also use ttl for less money with the Oly case and Oly flash, but I don't think you can go too wrong with the set-up you're looking at.

ttl flash adjusts itself for the light conditions and the setting of the camera giving a stronger or weaker flash as necessary, based on a signal through the camera's hot shoe. Since the SP-350 has a hotshoe for a remote flash, and is programmed for ttl, you can use a ttl flash system with it. Apparently, Olympus uses a proprietary system that doesn't work with most flashes. Oly makes their own flash and Ikelite has a ttl adaptor for Oly available with their housings. There is also a fellow in Germany who makes an adaptor to use Oly ttl with other brands of strobes.
(ttl stands for transistor-transistor logic)
