Ordered the Canon A720 IS and Cannon underwater housing and was wondering what you put them in for travel? Do you have a pelican case or some other kind?

Where did you get your case or do you just put it in your cary-on bag?

Thanks.

I have a Pelican for my S&S MM II that would fit my A570 just perfect but don't use it....only wrap a hand towel with rubberband around the UW case & keep it in my carryon---just have to be careful is all.....Keep the camera & SD cards in a very small soft camera case I had for my old cybershot digital camera, keep that 'tied' on to my carryon handle.....Really nothing to it, have made Little Cayman, Flower Gardens & Cozumel with it packed like this........For years(since '95) I used my Pelican but don't even worry about it anymore, just collecting dust in my closet...

I place my camcorder in my housing and wrap bubble wrap around the housing, then take it in my carry-on bag. Not highly recommended according to some, but it has worked for me. I've also carried it in my Pelican case, but I've found that my case doesn't always fit in the overhead luggage areas when I travel internationally.

Camera goes either in my carry on or the big camera bag I have my DSLR & lenses in that is always with me, & has the Passports & tickets etc. The housing gets packad in my dive bag or regular luggage but it's inside a $15.00 camera bag that fits it just right. They can be found in places like Wal Mart and mine has a zippered pocket for the O ring grease, weight & bolts etc.

I put the camera in the housing, put the housing in the bubble wrap it came with, and then just put it in one of the compartments of my camera backpack that I carry on with me...

My Sea & Sea DX-8000 camera and housing goes in the custom Pelican case with the arm and strobes that I bought with them. It is a good size to take on the plane. I carry that and a backpack on as carry-on luggage, check my dive bag and a suitcase for clothes. I don't take tanks or a scooter on the plane.

Camera and binoculars are in their soft cases in a carry-on bag. Underwater case is in the bubble wrap envelope it arrived in, also in carry-on bag along with chargers of various kinds and wife's prescription mask in its box.

i usually bring the bubble wrap the housing came in but also cushion it between my clothes in my bag when i travel. it works for me. i carry the camera in a separate pouch.
