The dry suit that I want to buy is a DUI CF200. This suit was shipped to DUI for zipper replacement ($320.00) and was completely gone over by DUI (pressure tested and cleaned!!) and has NOT been in the water since. Neck and wrist seals are latex and in like new condition. The dry suit includes a DUI (black) polarfleese. The guy was askig 900, knocked him down to 800. The suit has about 200 dives on it.....Should I go for it?

Thanks,

Daniel

You're negotiating for a suit you haven't yet decided on?

Go for it...Its a good suit.

This is the suit I want... just want to know what you guys think about the price. Does 800 sounds like a good price, or should I buy a new suit for 1600.

Daniel

for a CF200 in good cond. with a new zip and underwear sounds like a decent buy.

It does fit you, right? If it doesn't, pass on it, regardless of price.

My opinion, go for it! It's a great suit and you won't be disappointed. The fact that the undies come with is a nice bonus.

I assume you know that the CF is heavy and takes a long time to dry. But the material is really tough and seems to get better with age.

The fit is a stock large, which I am. 2 inches big on the waist, an inch here, but besides a little difference, it fits me good.

Thanks

$800 for an CF 200 with undergarmnents, a brand new zipper and a once over by DUI??? What are you waiting for????!!

Why is the original owner selling it? 200 dives sounds low for a suit to need a zipper. BTW, how does DUI seal their seams on the CF200? How old is the suit?

Boy! I agree with CALI68.....what are you waiting for? The CF 200 is a great suit. If all that was stated is true it should give you years of dry suit diving! :eyebrow:

If the stock size that the suit comes is off by a large margin from your measurements then even $90 is not a good deal.

Get measured up and see where you sit. If you are the same or mildy over then do it provided DUI is willing to pressure test, etc...

If you are under anywhere then I personally wouldn't bother. It's only going to frustrate you.
