Winter... is why God gave us the Springs in Florida.
Y'all come on down!

How are they in March? That's when I have Spring Break ;)

I teach classes! My busiest class of the entire year is usually January. Water temps get down about 35F in the winter so with O/W classes we only go out if it's above freezing and we may only do one dive but we don't let a little weather get in the way.

For fun we catch King Crab!

Cool pic, I though king crabs were only in deep water? That must be fun getting them.

As long as the storms stay away, Fall and Winter are the best times to dive in Southern California. The water temps won't be as cold as they were in July this year. We had unseasonably high 40s-low 50s. In the Winter, there are no plankton blooms, the boats are uncrowded and there is even parking near the beach. We also get to watch whales between dives.

I plan on diving all winter!!
Looking for buddies :-)

The Florida Springs are a constant 66-74 degrees (depending on the spring) all year. Vortex, Morrison and Cypress, for example are 68 all day every day; the ones around Lake City are 72. You can depend on it, regardless of the weather topside.
March is usually very mild and pleasant in North Florida and already nice & toasty down south.
