I won't dive at all when it hit's the 60's. You'ld have to tie me up AND point a big gun at me to get me to chop a hole in ice and dive.
 
If you need more that a T shirt, it's too cold to go diving
 
;) ;) I'm a WWW (warm water wussie). Won't go in the water if temps are 75 degrees or below.
 
Just got back from a 46 degree wet dive in Lake Michigan. Not the coldest I've been in but getting close!
 
Its currently 8 degree celcius in Melbourne when your down at 30m......mmm 11 at the surface. Its enough to make me plan a holiday up the coast. But then again, this is the best time of year for vis...so its almost worth gritting the teeth
 
We Californnia divers pretty much are the champions my friend:) 50 ish is fine, 40s in the thermocline is cold in a wetsuit ~Z
