My last local dive place was at the warmest was 14 C and the coldest at -1 C. The place : Lake Steinberg, Germany.

It's too cold when ice fishermen keep snagging your suit.

Entering 49F water in a 7/5mm wetsuit, the microsecond when the water rushes through the zipper -- instantaneous full shrinkage!!!

Just got back from a dive.....ABAN 6 matches the computer ...here is the info:
Wind speed 6kts
Wind gusts 8 kts
Air temp 22.6 degrees F
Water temp 44.2 degrees F

Its still warm...changing afterwards in the wind was not fun...great nite dive though. Broke down and started wearing the hood again at the end of October.

..water and air at 45 - that's the scallop dive in November in Bar Harbor, Maine. Foggy too sometimes...

Jim
