Mask started with Tusa Visualator replaced with a smaller airspace SeaVision
Snorkel started with a big hunk of plastic and replaced with a roll up in a pocket
Fins...same brand (and color) better model
7mm wetsuit for local diving traded for a dry suit
Jacket BCD went with a back plate/wing set up
Lights...started with a small compact pocket light, replaced with a better version as a pocket light...had a hand held version for Advanced OW class, replaced with a better stronger hand held version, then replaced that with a canister light.

And...the odd item that wears out....

I think that covers it!

I replaced my Mares X Vision mask with an Oceanic HUD Mask. I have tried many others and this one is the absolute best. It is extremely convenient to have your depth and air without moving your arms. Most of my other gear was good to go. I spent a little money on some nice kit so I wouldn't have to buy new stuff later.

I have replaced all my back mount gear with side mount gear. lol

Threw the snorkel away. Sold my long ass Velocity X3 blade fins for Jetfins. Replaced my framed mask with a frameless.
