Love full foot fins for scuba or free diving but unfortuately the nice Gulls etc are a challenge to get. Diving from a boat, full foot fins are the bomb! N

Long Free diving fins are good for what they were designed for. but they are specialist fins. Fins designed for scuba are better for scuba. If Long free diving fins are better for scuba, they wouldn't be called FREE DIVING FINS, they would simply call them FINS, and everything else would cease to exist.
I entered scuba after close to 10 years of free diving, I have used monofins and bi-fins, since I did it for fun and hunting the mono's were not very good for me and I used long Cressi carbon blades. They were terrible for scuba, not to mention they would cause untold amounts of damage to the reefs that they were constantly hitting.
