What we need is a way to make the camera look like say a flashlight or something. They just know when you have a camera.
Anybody ever collected from flood insurance? I keep thinking I should get it, buttttttt....
After your invite Lisa. I wasn't thinking real clear after missing breakfast for my physical and had forgot it was moved to wednesday, sooo, I had lunch by myself at GB today! LOL.

Red Sea Shadow:
Hi Lisa it's good to meet you here too.
Sorry about your camera, but I believe you shouldn't be sad. You had a great diving day.

Asser

Aloha Asser,

Good to see you here too :D
In the end I am not too sad about the camera, a bit pissed at myself maybe as most floods are human error, but I'm already over it. What I am sad about is the missed photo opportunities..and you're right...it was a great day diving :D

Now you have a good dive in my favorite sea for me

I know people that have cashed out from their camera flood...with no problems at all.

Hope you enjoyed it with out 6 women yacking :D...we'll miss ya though..

I haven't ruled out going yet. i have things to do in that direction and Kathy will be sleeping, sooo, maybe! Last time I went out with 6 women it cost me $1200 :)
Which insurance is it that pays cash?

I don't recall which it is...I know the one will pay you after you send in the receipts and the other will deal directly with the repair shop or where ever you purchase the new camera

sorry to hear about your camera... Sounds like you are already enjoying shopping for a new one... I hear ya' on the DSLR housing though ... you worry more about the housing than the camera for what they cost.

Aloha, Tim

Hey Tim!!! long time no see :D

shopping is fun...but a wallet made of onion leather keeps me back (onion leather wallets...every time you look into them they make you want to cry)..

Edit: Just heard back from Ikelite...if I buy their housing my tray, lenses and strob are out...might be getting something new after all

That 330 is an awsome looking setup!
