Whale sharks and Holbox Island

I will at Holbox (beginning of July) and snorkelling (hopefully!!) with whale sharks.
Anyone familiar with Holbox?
Any info gratefully received...

One question . Are you going to Holbox , because you think that place is the only place to swim with Whalesharks ?? If so,, then trips are done from Cancun, or Isla Mujeres. Much easier destination to get to than Holbox.
