Puffer Fish:
Having been in a similar situation, may I suggest in the future you get some zipper lubricant and use it.
And that would help with stuck velcro how?
Been there, done that. So Im getting ready for a cold water dive using a wet suit I have not had on in 10 years. I try it on, NBD it still fits fine. Then I decide to pull a vest on over my 7mm Farmerjohn. Great! It works well, EXCEPT that I can now not move my arms and Im frikkin melting inside. I run outside for some relief but still can get the damn this off...Rember when Mel Gibson was trying to get out of the straight jacket in lethal weapon? Ya, that was me.

.... 50 miles?!?

I woulda peed.

Man, that reminds me of getting stuck in my backplate when I first got it. And somebody on the board got stuck in their new dry suit. The humiliations of scuba diving! Thanks for the laugh.

At one point during the great zipper struggle I had to just sit down and wait for the blood flow to return to my arms. As I sat there I actually thought about the time you were stuck in the BP harness, and also about (I think it was Fishwhisperer) getting his leg stuck down in the arm hole of a wetsuit.

I can laugh about it now.:D

It is of course almost a daily thing on dive boats to watch the hot shot know it all diver fight to put his suit on and then point out the knee pads like to be on the front of the knees... LMAO every time.

LOL Too funny. I fixed my nieghbors pool earlier this year. Drysuit though. He zipped/unzipped it.

Ever put a wetsuit hood on backwards??? Thats really fun too on a boat with lots of people watching after you just bragged it up.

oh if only you got pulled over by a cop... i would have liked to have seen that onboard video!

ive been stuck in a drysuit before... home alone in the middle of summer in a drysuit thats not mine - wont EVER do that again!

The possibility that one will attempt to remove their wetsuit before removing their dive watch is directly proportional to how many people are standing around watching. IMHO;)

During dives for pool repairs as much as we like to it is very difficult to have a
buddy, because for one you have to pay them to watch you swim around.

I dive w/ my biggest piece of crap wetsuits when I go into pools to work. When you are working on them the abrasion from the plaster just destroys them. I gave up on using drysuits in them because they were torn to shreds after 20 hours in a pool.

Just wait a few months, it'll be cheaper then to cut yourself out of the wetsuit than drive the 50-whoops 100- miles to get help.........
