Lynne,

Let me know your schedule, I may not be able to dive with you but, I would love to meet you and Peter finally.

I'm about 10 hours or so away, I'll drive it.

Lynne, we're really excited about your return visit! Make sure you bring your drysuit this time!

It's not the water that's too cold, it's the air. Brrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!! I try to stay south of the Caloosahatchee in the winter.

It was pretty warm today. I was in shorts and a t-shirt and working up a little sweat just rearranging my workshop. In fact, my back door is still open right now and it's quite comfortable in the house.

Peter just booked the flights -- Into Orlando 2/27, out of Pensacola 3/6. I'm totally psyched. Hopefully a day or two of coaching and reel practice, and then heading north to Mill Pond country.

Love to meet any SBers we didn't get a chance to see the first time!
do you have any idea what springs you intend to dive in? since Pennsacola is north, do you intend to dive at Vortex or Morrisons?
I would consider it an honor to dive with you and if you do any dives in the northern part, I believe I can hustle on over for a couple of days.
Safe Diving. Happy New Year.

Well, we're going to spend a few days in High Springs . . . Not sure which systems we'll hit. That might depend a little on what companions we can find to dive with. I'd sure rather cave dive with somebody who knows the system, at this point in my line-following-cave-tourist-squirrel existence.

Then we'll head north, and take our lead from Rob and Jenn. They live about ten minutes from the Mill Pond, which is why I mentioned that place. I suspect we'll do at least one day at JB, because Peter and I both think it's gorgeous, and it's a great Intro cave now, while the flow is down.

As things firm up, I'll add more info. I'd love to meet as many people as possible.

I would strongly suggest that you hit Peacock this time around if you can. And I can likely get you to at least one or two sites in Wakulla if you're interested.

I'd like to see more of JB than I have but much will depend on how I'm feeling at that point.

Anyway, hope to get to see you when you're here.

Lynne,

I just got the word a couple of days ago to hold February 20 thru 27 open to go back to Luraville to finish my full cave training. I don't know if you will be in the area then. Maybe we could meet at Two Sisters BBQ in Mayo one evening. Since the 27th is a Wednesday, I may stay over a little longer anyway.

Last month we did Ginnie, Little River and Orange Grove. We will probably do a more training in Peacock on this trip. I am looking forward to it.

Have fun in any case.

Definitely hit up Little River! I just had the pleasure of diving it with Jean on Friday. It was totally awesome! We also dove Peacock I - Peanut and Pothole - Pothole took on a whole new light (literally) with Jean pointing every little thing out - like cover your light at the pothole jump (see I told you literally) - and you can just see the daylight streaming in - way cool!

Have fun on the first of many return trips. Perhaps we will bump into you around the springs.

Depending on how they're schedule works out, we're going to try to get them to Peacock, LR, and Madison this trip. However, I'd be interested in seeing those Wakulla area sites...

If you want a er , informal tour of some of the Peacock stuff , let me know :D
Timle and I did have some awesome fun there last week !
And we did the New Years Eve dive in Peacock last night. Hit midnight right at the jump to the Crypt :D

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL !!!

Oh, we're going to spend several days in the High Springs area, probably through the weekend.

i would so love to meet you and dive with you. i'd be happy to dive Devil's, Little River, or Peacock ... or anything else you want, for that matter

i am crossing my fingers

p.s. don't dive with Jean. she ends up with more air in her tanks than when she started the dive ... it just not NATURAL i tell you
