I woke up this morning and there is water falling from the sky. Can anyone tell me what this is? Should I gear up?

Yeah! Here too! What is it?

I'm thinking that pretty much anything except a snorkel might be useful. Supposedly this happened a while back, like February?

Don't worry, the sky isn't falling.

The only concern you have is how much water is falling from the sky. If too much comes down you may have a bit of a hard time getting into your dry suit dry. But other than that you will be ok. Or you can always come up here to Nor Cal and experience this water from the sky thing a little more often, plus you get to dive Monterey!

Last night had some awsome lightning action going on. Anybody else watch it for allitle bit?:dork2:

You have all done something to anger the weather gods! The only cure is to make a sacrifice to them! Box up all of your gear FedEx it to me post-haste! ;)

Haha hear hear...:dork2:

Interestingly, some friends of mine were to dive yesterday (Saturday 9/22), but they chose not to -- no one wanted to get wet. <ahem>

Why do you think I bought a drysuit? ;)
