Does anyone know a formula for figuring the weight of a tank when filled with air? Most stat sheets only list the dry weight on a cylinder when it's empty. Thanks

Air at approx 1 ATA weights approximately .07 lbs per cubic ft.

So, for example, the 77 cu ft of air in a full AL 80 will add approx 5.4 lbs of weight to an empty AL 80. (77 cu ft)(.07 lbs/1 cu ft) = 5.39 lbs

This site has some detailed specs for most tanks.

From a little different viewpoint, one pound of dry air at 68F and 1 atm occupies about 13 cubic feet, so the 77 cubic feet in a full AL80 weighs about 5.9 pounds.

cancun mark:
and one kilo of air weighs about 2.2 pounds.
About the same as water, eh?
