Leejnd:
Billy, are you going to switch the weekly dives to Thursday, or just book 'em on whatever day is best for everyone each week? Like I said, I can't go next week (I'll be out on the Peace) but I'll plan for it the following week.

I'm going to basically go with whataver works best for the majority. I'm a freelance kind of guy so my nightime work schedule is pretty flexible.

LeeAnne where did you get certified? I did the 1st half of my cert through Channel Islands Scuba and went to Ventura Dive N Sport for the 2nd half.

I'm a freelancer as well, so I'm pretty flexible in my schedule too.

Charlie and I did a Discover Scuba while on a cruise in Costa Rica last year, and I fell in absolute love with diving. When we got back we started our OW certification process with Sports Chalet in Oxnard, where we did all the pool and classroom work. We then did our certification dives in St. Thomas and St. Martin while on a cruise in the Carribbean.

After the Thousand Oaks Sports Chalet opened its pool, we went on to do our AOW through them, but with the same instructors we'd had in Oxnard. We did all our AOW dives around here, and at the dive park in Catalina.

One of our AOW instructors was Chris, who apparently just purchased Channel Islands Scuba after the passing of Mike Dahan.

Did he? That would be pretty cool, if that's the case. Chris (from Aloha) is a good guy; I've always liked him.
