Weekly Malibu Night Dive week of April 1st-7th

Hrm. Wednesdays are actually not good for me. Jesse now has classes Tuesday and Thursday evenings, so those would be ideal evenings for me to get away and do my own thing. By contrast, Wednesdays would be one of the few nights per week we can actually spend time together.

So until this quarter ends (it just started tonight), no Wednesdays for me.

Kalani, I'm still doing Tuesday/Friday dives......(except today).


Tomorrow, I need to finish a project before Thursday 6am.........I'll be working into the morning. Sorry.......no diving for me.

Damn...hate to have to do this but we've gotta bag tonight. Several reasons, one being that Wave-Cast shows some higher surf than we want to deal with, given that this is our first time out in weeks. We both got totally trashed in the surf at Leo Carrillo a few weeks ago, and we're a little leery of any forecasts of 4+ ft waves. Gotta get our mojo back, I guess.

Anyone going out this Saturday in Malibu? Wave forecast looks best for that day.

Next Wed. is out for me -- we're heading out on the Peace early Thursday.

Well LeeAnne I'm with you. Unfortunately the swell reports looks terrible. 6-8' SW sets, no bueno. So this week's dive will be cancelled due to undivable conditions. Let's see if it mellows out for next week. Thanks everyone for attempting to participate!

I'll be out on the Peace on Saturday, if anyone wants to come along. Give a call to Malibu Divers and see if they have any spots left, if you want to join in the fun!

FYI - Ice just called me, he's down there in Malibu right now for work. He stood there and watched a beautiful set of 7-footers come crashing in. So I think we made the right choice!

Kalani, wish I could join you, but I don't think I can talk Charlie into two boat dives in one week. Have a great time!

In light of Kalani's schedule I think we can hold next week's dive on Thursday. I'll setup a new thread by tomorrow.

Has he sought professional help?

LOL! Kalani, he just doesn't feel it like I do. If it were up to me I'd be out diving every day! He likes it well enough, but he's just not been bitten by the dive bug like me. This is reflected in the disparity in our numbers: since we got certified in August, he's got 17 dives. I've got 60. Need I say more?

If I thought professional help would get us underwater more often, I'd MAKE him go!

Billy, are you going to switch the weekly dives to Thursday, or just book 'em on whatever day is best for everyone each week? Like I said, I can't go next week (I'll be out on the Peace) but I'll plan for it the following week.
