A bunch of us hit the scallop beds with Boston Scuba today. Water temps were 50-55 and we all got our full of scallops.

North shore?

The Ice just went off the lakes up here a week ago..... Those scallops look tasty..... :headscratch:maybe I should put on the dry-suit and try and get a salmon...

Jim....

North shore?

We were around the Boston Harbor Islands. Some of us are diving tomorrow so we should have a North Shore report this weekend.

This is soooo not right! I have been on the road for 2 months and no diving, no scallops.....arggggh. That said - cerveza, scallop ceviche - yummm. :D

it was quite a shock diving Folly Cove yesterday and hitting temps of 48-51... oh well, soon enough it'll be wicked nice out...

that's a good idea! I'm thinking prepping the ceviche before the dive and then after the first dive toss a scallop ceviche together and by the time we're back at the dock after the second dive it should be quite tasty!

I was also on charter with Lewis on Friday. Everyone bagged up on scallops. Filled bag in about 18 minutes on first dive; It was a good charter. It was also my first wetsuit dives in about a year! (Drysuit zipper is being replaced). I was pleasantly surprised how warm I was. Got 53f on my computers.
