Waterproof Hood and Boots Brand New

Hello,

I have some items I picked up on closeout from Waterproof that did not fit.
Before I ship them back for a refund and pay almost as much in shipping, I wanted to see if anyone locally was interested in them.

I picked up one of their wetsuits last year on closeout and have been nothing but impressed with their quality--I'm actually surprised they haven't sold out of their closeout gear yet--(7mm women's suits for $110 if anyone is looking...)

At any rate, I have:
a pair of size S 7mm Orion Boots $30

a size M Hydra 5/7mm Hood $25

Both are still in their original packaging. Just asking what I paid.

If no interest in a couple days, I'll ship them back.

Is this a men's medium hood?

I was just going to ask if it was a women's hood :cool2:

Edit: Okay, I see both the hoods and boots are unisex... and they are both close to my size (basically women's Medium type size).

Hood: Size Medium fits a head circumference of 21" and a neck circumference of 14"

Boots: Size small fits US male 6-7; US female 7-8; European 38/39.

I was thinking of ordering a pair of the boots a while back, but going by the charts I'm right between sizes - either a Small or a Medium. Have you tried them on and can you tell me how they run, size-wise?

Of course it's the same for the hood: I'd be right between a M and a ML... did you try that on by chance?

Hi there,

These are both "uni" products.
Boots were big for a 6 6 1/2, had to go with XXS.

Hood was also too long in neck and big on head, had to go to a small.

Not sure that's much help!

Well in the meantime, I ordered a couple of things from Waterproof myself, guessing a bit on sizes.

Now I'm a bit worried.... eep. I was between a M and a ML on the measurements for the hooded vest and went ML... hope that wasn't a mistake! Sounds like maybe the hoods run large.

Also, even though I ordered a hooded vest, I might still be interested in your boots, as they did not have those any longer (in the size I thought I wanted). Would you mind elaborating slightly? When you say they were too big for a 6-6-1/2, is that women's or men's you are speaking of? It still sounds like they might fit me.

Thanks for the additional info. If only sizes were more consistent!

By now you've probably received your order from Waterproof! How did things work out?

I was referencing women's sizing in my last post.

The Worm
