You can search the board for pocket. Rest assured you are not the only person who refuses to pay $49 for .49 worth of material. If you go to target/rei/walmart you can find day/belt packs. It turns out that the cheapest packs are the ones with no padding. They are perfect for diving. I have one that has a big plastic zipper enclosed pocket and a fold over flap pocket with a fastex buckle. Drain holes are not necessary and the pouch only cost about $7 at target. It could be sewn/glued onto my wetsuit, but I just wear it on the belt of the harness.
