A buddy and I kayaked down the Wacissa River on sunday, and stopped by a couple of springs along the way. Almost all were tannic or murky, but clearing up. The main spring, Big Blue, had about 10ft visibility, and lots of hydrilla. Otherwise, the river and some of the spring runs had clearish water, but not perfect yet.

Great pics, I still haven't been down to Wacissa yet - looks like it would be a fun dive though
 
Quite a trip you guys took. If I'm rushed for time, I'll just have to break out the MsJellyfish.
 
Have you heard if the FWC is going to poison the hydrilla? I heard they are going to do it in the Wakulla soon. I was just wondering if they are goning to do the Wacissa also.

I believe that is the most prestine river in North Florida. Slave Canal is down river with no dive sights, but it's also worth checking out.
