Hello,

I gave away my Nitek he after having bought a VR3 ccr comp....best bit of kit I ever got. Looking for a second vr2 or 3, as back up, if anyone is selling??

However, I'm a bit of a numpty when it comes to computer tech stuff and I am having problems with my VR3 planning and logging software on my PC at home. I have about 70 dives to download and wondered if anyone else has a VR3 that I can pester for some advice on dowloading logs and uploading plans and mixes??

Cheers.

Boogey,

Probably the largest collection of VR3 users can be found on:

www.rebreatherworld.com

among the many there is Kevin Gurr, the designer of the unit.

I have a vr3 with all bells and whistles.. (Trimix, CCR input, analyzer, mixer, BGM ect) willing to let it go fro $1000 since I never use it.. It only has about 3 dives on it since last years factory update.. I think it goes for about $2k as I have it configured.

In great contition, with just a few scratches on the buttons..

Upgrading to the one with color screen, eh?

Nope just getting rid of a computer that I don't use... Some people love them, I'm not a big fan..

I prefer the Explorer ...

Padiscubapro,

Sounds interesting...that's a good price. I'll give it some thought but I was thinking more of a cheaper second hand vr2 as back up but $1000 is very tempting. It has colour screen and you are able to supply all relevent pin numbers?

never said it has color screen...

I have ONE pin.. It unlocks everything that I know of (thats the way it was purchased)... When it went in for software upgrades (specifically to BGM, and oxygen port connector ), it was already enabled with the same pin.. everything is already enabled.. All you need the pin for now is to change the owner information..

I don't hide who I am - people know me on this forum and especially the technical forums of deco stop and rebreatherworld where I only use my name as my handle... If someone is really interested I guess I could put a bettery in and eneter the pin to show it unlocked...

My unit was shipped to me directly from Delta-P.. It never went through the us-distributor (at the time, OMS)..

If you look at the Delta-p Vr3 adds (the last one I saw was the current issue of advanced diver magazine) that use the picture from Zero Gravity.. I am the last guy on the right..

I wasn't questioning. It's clear to me that you're a star on the forum.

I asked about the PINs because I got 4 PINs..

1. the initial

2. o2 analysyer

3. CCR trimix

I was wondering if you had the same?

B and W...not bothered.

Please confirm.

The Pin I was given at the time of purchased never changed even after factory upgrades and additional features, so at the time I purchased it they must have had some type of "turn on all" pin.. The original computer was trimix CCR without the o2 connector.. it was sent to the factory to get a software upgrade, o2 connector and bgm.. no additional pins but everything worked..

Someone else saw the message on this board and made an offer... The computer is now on its way to its new owner..
