Hi all, we plan to be there but are not familiar with the facilities. We want to be involved with all of the apres dive fun but aren't sure whether to camp or get a room (if even available). We will be bringing food and beverages so not sure if a room would be convenient to the festivities?
Looking at bringing:
A cold broccoli dish
A cold rice dish
Salad mixes
Tea
Adult beverages!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's not that big a place, camp sites & cabins are close to the fun.

Call them to see what's open & reserve it. 850-836-4979

Either is fine, just bring some camp or folding chairs, and you can move to the spot you like best. A room may be quieter if you don't like to stay up late, but I just bring an mp3 player, and that puts me to sleep even if the festivities are still going strong.

Some people (Denise) even drink a bit of rum before going to bed. You know, to help with the insomnia and whatnot.....

I understand the whatnot.....we'll check with Vortex about accommodations, but we are not late night partiers...more late evening, crash, fairly early morning peeps. Really looking forward to meeting some of our diving "neighbors".

That sounds great as long as your broccoli dish is composed of some sort of meat! :D
