WELLTHE BEACH HERE IS LIKE A CON-FREAKIN-CRETE JUNGLE. You can ride down FBR "Front Beach Road" and not see the feakin' water for a few Miles. I hate it. They are trying to pass somethin' here to where they will be restricted on the building heights to 5 stories. I wish they did that 3 little years ago. You can ride down FBR maybe about once a month and say out loud "GEEZ, where did that Condo or building come from. I mean you have a 3,000-room condo times a bunch plus us locals where is every one going to drive? Our two-lane road, unless you go on Back Beach. All the mom and pop stores are about gone. I go to Wal-Mart and get asked all the time, "Where are you from". I mean it all good to have tourist but I liked things the way they were before. OK ... I am hitting my enter button now. I was just venting and bummed that Morrison Springs will be packed even more so since Vortex is gonna be gonzo!!**ENTER**

My friend and I used to have a condo on FBR. I went to PC for the first time in probably 6 years, about two years ago. I was floored. I barely recognized it. It's really a shame what it's become. And I have no desire to be down there anymore.

They are trying to pass a building limit for 5 stories in PCB? well jeez. the idiots that run that city created their own problem.

PCB city officials are the ones who wanted to get rid of all the old concrete block hotels there and put up new condos to raise property rates and to get higher paying toursits to get rid of that "spring break" and "girls gone wild" image. So the developers come in and put up 25 story towers and parking decks across the street.

Now the banks are saying the condo's are overvalued and won't give loans on them for the selling price, so many purchasers that hoped to "flip" pre-construction sales of condo's are upside down in PCB.

I think the real reason they want the 5 story limit is that they know they screwed up and overflooded the market with condos.

The bad thing out of all this is there are no more "cheap hotels" to stay in at PCB now for dive shops to use.

I did about the same thing. Went for the first time in about 6 years last year. I though the place looked like a "war zone". they were bulldozing all the old places and the place was dead with no life.

You can do that online. It's on Holmes County. Their probate office is online. (last time I checked which was a couple months ago, there was no change in the deed. But of course the offiical sale hasn't gone through to my understanding, so there shouldn't be any change in the deed.)

You talking about Joe Francis? Yep, you are... I just did a google news search and found that he yelled & screamed at the judge and got contempt charges and 35 days in jail. Then the dumbass didn't show up for his jail date, got arrested at the airport, then even more dumbass he tried to bribe a jailer.... I think the 35 days is a bit excessive for yelling, but most likely they were trying to get his attention so that he wouldn't be back at the well known spring break destination. (looks like he might be getting a longer all expenses Bay County jail vacation on the bribery charges).

Well fist he did not show up for court so there was a warrant out for'em then the bribe you were talkin' well He gave the Security Guard $50.00 to get him a bottle of water. The guard did not accept it,**crazy**, then up it to $100.00, a no go. He told, they came and searched his cell and found a lot of cash and drugs in there…what an idiot huh!!! He also has some other things in Cali and I think N. Carolina or somewhere ..well he will be finding out about **””GUY’S GONE WILD””** ..lol
