I would like a lot of folks to run Linux, however, its not so easy to switch people over. I would appreciate this not being suggested every time an issue is brought up.

Better yet, why not switch to Linux so ya don't have to worry about 99.999% of those dang virii & spyware?
I started running Linspire flavored Linux a couple years ago after my "main" computer crapped out, it was intended to be a "temporary" thing 'till I got the Windoze box up & running again, but I never switched back.

There used to be a FREE download of a bootable CD image that will let you run the operating system w/o writing anything to your hard drive. I don't see it listed there now but if anyone is interested in a demo CD of the "Linspire Live" so you can at least get an idea of what it looks like (or to check out your hardware configuration) drop me a PM.
 
i downloaded this really good anti virus program called spyware...its much better then norton anti virus...btw dont open emails even if they say "hi, your name" as the subject...theyre the worst viruses!
