HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA. Actually we are moving to the house right behind where we are now. It is a 3 bdrm. Only a little bigger than what we are in now, but 1 more room to hide stuff in.

This was a real question asked at a job interview for KIRC...What will you do to help Hawaii become a soverine(sp) nation? This was asked by an government funded and appointed entity. How about Niihau? We can't even vist there without an invitation! What these :censored: don't understand is that if it weren't for us, then would be dead or speaking japanese(sp again :-)). They all think life would involve laying on the beach and drinking beer all day, no jobs. Shall we talk about the hawaiian imersion schools or the racial devided Kam schools? What would happen if we started an all white school? And we are the racists?????????? And lets not forget the free Hawaiian home lands giveaways!

Rather tasteless and distasteful generalization and ethnic slur that seems quite inappropriate on this Board and only serves to inflame the very situation you complain about.

one of the great things about hawaii is how we make fun of all races, not to be demeaning to anyone, its just another thing to make fun of someone, one of the funniest guys I have ever seen is Frank Delima and most of his comedy is based off of races. I think I am Japanese or something, but really when people ask me my ethnicity I like to tell em American. I did however get an educational application returned when I made my own box that said American, but oh well. I say what the heck lets table this, take the guys who have been having a hard time in the islands out for an awesome dive(after the rain of course) and all enjoy the good things about Hawaii. Plus then you guys can post about how awesome the dives were and as I have noticed there are quite a few amazing photographers out there(I will hopefully be one of them some day as well as a bad a word ambulance chaser) so you can post some awesome pics(help me cure my jonesin for dives in Hawaii). Hopefully I will get some dives here in SD before I come home. Hoping to dive with the leopard sharks in la jolla cove this summer, and when I get back we have to have a huge scuba party. Leesa you think Brian would let us party on the mo`olio(which i still think he should change the name i mean cmon sea horse? thats not a boat i want to dive on, haha)

whoa, melissa, well, if you can control 17 yr. olds and what they say, good on ya.
My kids are pretty respectful, actually.

I think you may be going through the psychology of moving...haven't you ever noticed right before someone leaves a place or a job, they get really negative about it? It's like every negative thought that was stored comes bubbling up. This girl who made the comment I am sure thought that she was funny because of the irony. She is 7th generation from here. You need to hang loose with it sometimes....if somebody calls me hoale, who cares? The punks on the beach, well did it really have to do with race? or were they just annoying teenagers? I don't know, I just hate to see this place get such a rap. You are leaving, but the rest of us that are staying don't like to see it characterized that way. I mean, I go to the west side and kahuku, and nobody every says anything racial, the whole four years I have been here.

Well...for the right $$$ amount he might....but then again who knows.

I think Capt. Tim told me that the boat had already been renamed once and to do so brings bad luck....we just call it the boat anyway ;)

Oh and lets not get carried away...we don't want to have the thread shut down. Thanks :D

right amount of money, but he(brian) loves me, its a guarantee that noone gets tagged by a shark when I dive with them (as he likes to say professional courtesy)

he loves Roger too and we had to pay for our wedding charter....you know friendship ends where the wallet begins

Sorry about my rant but I haved put up with the racial crap for several years now. It gets real old. Equal rights does not mean special rights.
