Hello Sam,the catalog I have doesn't have any regulators in it. It has masks, fins, spearguns, weight belt, wrist gauges ect.

Mike,
Then we have the same 1970 catalog.
Apparently the King Neptune was marketed in US only one year -1970 and several years later in Europe.

Where did the regulators come into the King Neptune line as described by US Diver? Or did he just want to muddy the thread?

Someone mentioned there regs. I know GSD has made at least two regulators the Spinnaker and the S-3000. They may have had more. The spinnakers are on the rare side.

Hi Sam,

As far as I can see, the connection is that the float in the original post (see first picture from original post) was also sold under the GSD brand (see other pictures from post # 5). GSD might have been the original manufacturer, but I don’t know.

I don’t have any significant information about GSD, but I say they are from Italy and they are probably best known by the two regulators already mentioned… I think the connection is GSD not King Neptune.

I hope this helps.

I have just aquired a GSD spinnaker in mint condition only used a handfull of times and it shows ! I dont suppose anybody could tell me how much its worth to a collector of vintage and famous dive equipment???
Regards Davyd

It's worth whatever someome will pay. Two GSD regs just sold on ebay. They were GSD S-300. One had one regs. One had two regs. They have the same first stage as the spinaker. One sold fro $28 the other with two regs sold for $50. I know the Spinaker second stage is harder to find. It's worth $50 to me.
