Robin that video was great, plus I loved the music.
Thanks for sharing with us.

thanks! I really wish I had taken the camcorder in on the 2 dives prior to this one! My favorite dive site on San Clemente is definitely Pyramid Cove. Wowowwow!!!! I wish I had taken the camcorder on that dive. I told Capt Tim when I got back on the boat that I would like the boat to stay there the rest of the day. He laughed and said nope ... that dive site I think we saw some of everything, plus vis was easily 60' or more and the kelp was healthy. ;)
If any of you are planning a trip to San Clemente, definitely request Pyramid Cove! :D

Ok, where are the Sea Lions, blacksmiths, etc.! :D

You are reminding me, of me! We saw all sorts of cool things, and neither Tom nor myself had working equipment for 90% of the cool stuff.

Nice Video, and I'm glad you enjoyed the trip. I am definitely going back.

duh, did I saw eagle rays? I meant bat rays! :D yeah, I know the diffference. I didn't get them on video but others on the boat saw a sand channel where the bottom was covered with them, they said maybe 12-15 of them. Wish I had seen that! I usually only see one at a time. This trip I had one swim directly at me and as soon as I slowly pointed the camcorder at him he turned and was gone, nothing but tail and sand in the video.

Bat rays develop cataracts and lose their ability to see clearly. I had one swim right toward me until it got within about 5 feet, then it did an abrupt 180... and swam right into the rocky reef and then the kelp. Fortunately I was filming at the time.

here's the blacksmiths.... no pics of the sea lions (we only saw them at the surface, some other divers had them play a bit underwater). :D

Zero photos or videos of the giant sea bass! That's because we were the only people on the boat who never saw them. :rofl3: Seems like every dive, there was at least one, but not where we were!
