Visibility was easily 50ft at Tyee today.

Still didn't stop me leaving and probably driving over my OMS bottom timer on the way home! :-(

The recent winds have played havoc with visibilty at Madrona. 20 feet at best in the shallows, and 30 feet at best on the big wall. More wind forecast which hopefully doesn't affect visibility too much.

Recent wind storms have stirred things up a bit, but visibilty is still okay. Went from about 50 feet at Tyee, down to about 20 feet. Dolphin had excellent visibilty prior to the wind storm, but don't know what it is like now. Lots of runoff from the Englishman River and surrounding streams may have played some havoc with Madrona Point - will check that out later this week.

Dove at Oak Leaf yesterday - visibility was 40 - 50 feet.

Dove at Madrona Point this morning - visibility was 30 - 40 feet.

Both sites the visibility got better as we went deeper.

Happy New Year everyone, and safe diving in 2019 !!
