You know that one of the reasons why allergies and some diseases are problem in our society is because we keep ourselves too clean now. We encounter a disease and our immune system can't deal with something new or it is an allergy and our immune system over responds

I've seen manufacturer recommendations for glutaraldehyde solution for reg disinfection ranging from 1-4%. I'm wary of glutaraldehyde's side effects (skin rash, burning, lung irritation, colitis) and am interested in a less-toxic alternative. I know glutaraldehyde is effective disinfectant and that alternatives are likely to be less effective but I'm curious if anyone out there has another viable choice for regulator disinfection.

Just my opinion but I wouldn't use it. I know it's used in the medical industry as a disenfectant. But it is also used as an industrial biocide. In that strength it is Toxic and poison. I would definitely look for something else!
