According to : Vet's Park, Redondo Beach, California

I need to use a flag/float for diving here. Any of the Vets regulars care to chime in and tell me if that is a local ordinance or just a recommendation?

Planning to dive there with a friend tomorrow night.

Well, I suppose there's a first time for everything. A dive float at Vets (outside of a class situation, where they actually are used), would fall into that category. ;)

Seriously... I've never seen anyone use one there who wasn't teaching a class, or taking one. Especially at a mid-week night dive.

Have fun! Don't kick up the mud, and you're in for a treat, especially if you have a local to show you where the critters hang out. :) Wednesday night there should be plenty of others (DiveVets, mostly) who can give you some tips.

Thanks for the confirmation. I'd figured that was the case, but I wanted to make sure.

If anyone's diving vets tonight, maybe we can meet up with you? :D

That was great information :) Thank you very much for putting it together. Any recommendations for waypoints for our first time there?
