I was there last Sat I dove right at the peer. most of the silt went way north.
It wasn't bad vis was around 6 ft. Wave your hand and I was finding teeth.

We are planing to dive south of the pier, for a change, next thurs. Does the spill affect that area?

Think of the fish it will attract. Beter learn to duck and weave.

Fred - you are the bomb!

Ok so how do we find out what the fecal coloform (sp) level is?

I can try to make some calls if anyone cares.

They had a report on last nights (Thursday) TV news that Venice Beach had been opened again for swimming.. They tested the water and everything was fine.. BTW, where do people go "south of the pier"? Is there another parking area? I know how to get to Alhambra, but have not been south of Sharky's pier/restaurant.
