I did a beach dive at the south part of the public beach. I headed about 50 yards south of the marker and 100 yards west of it. The sand turned from white to a rustic look, then I passed a large mound of seaweed and finally a gravel area that looked like old busted up fossils. This is a good place. 18 ft deep.

Let me know how you do.

I also went out on a dive boat that took me to this same area just out deeper 32 ft.

Every time I dive this spot I see dive flags at the marker out in front of the lifegaurd stand in front of the restrooms. Is this a good spot?

Does any one know where the Alhambra site is that I have seen people talking about?

Check the thread on the Venice beach dive party this weekend and directions to that site are posted pn page 9 ad maybe page 2 I think of the thread. You are welcome to join us, just post on that thread if you are coming.
