How about 0800, at the public park just north of Sharky's ? I'm less interested in beating the parking crowd, and more interested in beating the afternoon onshore winds & rain.

0800 works for me. See ya there. Thanks for the viz report Walter, and congrats on your 1900 dive.:D

Heading to Alhambra for an afternoon dive. I'll check in later with a report.

Yep, water was still green. Wind whippin' from the West. I didn't get in the water, but it wasn't pretty.

Hmmmmmmm.......................I sure hope it clears, I haven't been in the water for 2 weeks. I'm startin' to get itchy. Thanks for the report diversolo.

This is not sounding good, and I planned to dive both Saturday and Sunday. Winds are supposed to pick up to 15 - 20 MPH out of the NE Sunday. I'm not gonna call it yet, but it's not looking good.

No, let's not call it for NE winds. If it were SW or W, that would be a blow out for sure.

I'm pretty much commited, so I'll be going anyway. Out at the boneyard, I think it will be much better than closer in, anyway. I'm going to be parking at Alhambra because my family is planning on showing up later in the morning, but I'll meet you guys out in the boneyard area. I'll be near the coords. I mentioned in the earlier post, say around 0845 to 0900ish. If you guys get to Sharkey's park at 0800, that's probably about when you'll get out there. See ya!

I was at Brdenton Beach this AM with the missus. It was almost like glass and the water was gin clear...and least from waist deep water to the bottom... Thinking about taking my son diving Alhambra Saturday morning and leaving the missus and daughter onshore.
