Merry Passage and I planned to dive early this morning. I loaded our cameras in the car at 6:00 and noticed a breeze in the air. The models all called for increasing wind today, so I went for a walk instead. By the time I got home, the wind still hadn't picked up much. We gave it a go and made an early afternoon dive instead.

The wind waves were sloppy, but doable. Visibility on the bottom was an incredible 35 feet. It even improved before the end of the dive. Water was 52°
Roger Carlson and Jim Lyle dived the site last month, placing three shells near our coordinates. There was a Sarcastic Fringehead living in one of them. Merry saw two more swimming in the open nearby.
