Just to clear things up I don't work there my club just uses it as a home base of sorts. No spam intended!

Back to the question of North Saanich dives, Deep Cove is always a favourite, Dyer rock was always a boat dive but we found a beach access off Ardmore that works perfectly, a good dive east or west of the entrance. Moses point is good if you swing west towards Wain rock.East of Henderson point is a small bay that is VERY deep and a great dive despite the lenghty surface swim.I hope you'll find these a help vicdiver656.

Out of curiosity, has anyone dove Tahssis(sp?) for Six Gills? I really would love to see these sharks, and have heard the chances of seeing them there are better than Hornby.

vicdiver656, there are quite a few good spots in the North Saanich area. I started a dive group called sundaydivers a few months ago.We meet at Liquid Heaven every Sunday morning and explore local sites as well as try to find new spots. We have had some pretty good luck and get a good turnout as well.No need to bring a buddy we are happy to pair up.FYI, Liquid Heaven has the lowest priced air on the south island just $5 a fill so now you have less of an excuse not to get wet!

Do you work for them? I kinda was a little annoyed by the owner. I dive bp/w and went in there looking for gear. He turned around and said that the bp/w wing setup was stupid, and was for technical divers only. After saying that, it's kinda no wonder why I'm annoyed. If you're still willing to have me join you guys (and maybe my Dad?) I'll keep you in mind. I'll be doing a lot of diving after July 15

What do you expect, this is the same dive shop that also has an oxygen bar for O2 therapy.... sheesh:shakehead:

Shop slagging aside...It would be great to have you along vicdiver656 and your dad, we're not into politics or any b.s. we just love to dive as much as possible. We always have a good time, in fact we have aquired a landing craft for the club to make things even more exciting! She'll be ready in a month or so and should accomodate 12 or more divers. Some of us also have our own boats and are more than happy to take people out. I shouldn't forget to mention a villa in Manzanillo as well!
I'm looking forward to meeting you guys.Touch base with us on our facebook group..."sunday divers"

Quick Vis report.

The top is still pretty bad, but we had a good 50`on the Breton on Sunday.

Sunday Divers are heading to Henderson tomorrow for 10 am then to Sluggett point for second dive. Everyone interested is welcome to come along, we'll leave shop @ 9:15. Vis at Braemar was pretty good today 20-30'. There is a ton of new life now that the bloom has subsided.See you there... remember no buddy necessary.
