Hey guys. I just recently got what i think is a steel 120, there's now size markings and it's from 1991 (current hydro and in great condition). My question is where can i get a valve to fit its 7/8" neck. i have a great Genesis valve on it now, but i want to change it to one that isn't angled. i want one that is more like the standard valve. I'm willing to sell or trade to a local if that's the case, too. i had a tech check it, it's in perfect condition.

thanks,

? what does that mean?

the ONLY valve available for a 7/8" thread is a 300 bar outlet. If you want a non-angled outlet I reccommend Thermo.

Sherwood used to occasionally run off batches of oddball valves, so it is possible that it is a genuine from-the-factory job, not a basement job.

Of course there is always a clever soul that fabricates a work-around..... Check this out while the item is up:

Quite possible..... do you know of any use of the 7/8 thread besides the PST 3500 PSI series cylinders that they might have logically made such a valve for?

Of course they may have built some "just in cases".
