Yep, although don't ask me for it's official name. USD incorporated a tank banger into it to warn the diver of low air pressure. It banged the inside of the tank when you inhaled at low tank pressures to warn you that you were on your reserve air. The same basic idea audible warning that Scubapro used 10 years later with it's Mk 7 first stage.

Boy, wouldn't it be annoying to use the two together.

Do you know what the tggle on the side was for?

It seems to be ported for some type of lanyard but it is spring loaded and would return to that center position when released...
