Burst disc in valve, how to eliminate?

The burst disk is a safety device mainly for the person/shop filling the tank. After seeing the results of a tank that an individual that tried to over fill/pressure a tank it was not pretty. Looked like a bomb went off. Took out the re-enforced concrete tank. Lucky the individual filling the tank was out of the room when it blew.

Let’s skip this silly part given the user and his post history and acknowledge the density of homebrewers and gear modifiers is decent in the US and significantly higher in Europe. There are unfortunately types of bottles only available or imported in some regions. Perhaps this has solved Agro’s hunt for the elusive and magic buoyancy characteristic American 2L!

What's OOSA?

The burst disk is also the gasket. Once you think about that, plugging it should be a lot easier.

Well yeah it's a gasket but there's another gasket behind it which I punch from milk bottles or lids

I got a US tank and valve including burst disc. I want to eliminate the burst disc. How can I do so? Any other ideas?
For scuba valves the easy way is to simply fit two (2) copper discs and replace the indented (domed) original disc. Or not by fitting behind the domed one. Also replace the PTFE seal washer to avoid leaks if you can. This will increase the burst pressure by a high margin just not quantified.
The critical part is that you also need to know the original torque setting for the plug brand. It's not much usually measured in inch pounds rather than foot pounds but if you do over torque the plug it reduces the bust pressure setting.
Getting parts in EU/UK? today my guess is slim to zero most suppliers junked these components 30 years ago. Other home brew options I've seen range from a molten lead filling inside the plug hole to a replacement heavy flat disc with an 1/8 BSPP fibre washer neither of which I wish to comment. It's a 30 cent part no one has stock anymore.

Current practice in EU/UK is burst discs are only used on specific large static ASME pressure vessels to retain code with a very tight +/- 5 % to +/- 10% burst tolerance of the rated burst pressure. The disc is stainless and laser welded to the boss a whole world away from self service repair.
