and don't be concerned by dogdiver' comment, like many caribbean islands the runway is near the water but no plane has ever gone off the runway and into the water

well not in the 10 years i've had a home on utila, we had a plane hit a cow on the runway a couple of years ago but no planes in the water

The airstrip starts and ends in the ocean.

seems like a stretch...
