Dryglove:Nova kinda strikes me as the "been there, done that" type of diver. In his off time from diving he probably confers with president bush on a regular basis and has one of those secret black boxes under his bed. Dont dare ask what is in the box cause he could tell you, but he would have to kill you first.![]()
Well...to give him some credit...I could easily envision someone wearing a 7 ft hose...just because it looks techy. I found that when I was doing warm water wimp diving...the 7 ft was a PITA...and I went to a 40in hose and that was much nicer YMMV.Dryglove:Nova kinda strikes me as the "been there, done that" type of diver. I really like my long hose set up and have been trained on it but not by the best instructors in the world....oh well, my loss![]()
wedivebc:Well, he has 200 doubles dives. That qualifies him for anything right?Dryglove:Nova kinda strikes me as the "been there, done that" type of diver. This is what happens when someone disagrees with a member of the collective. There is no way a persons individual experiece could compare with the hundreds of drones posting here![]()

Just want to add that using the long hose/bungee back-up, takes away that big loop (entanglement hazard) sticking off the right side of a dives head the standard 28" hose creates. The long hose has so many more benefits than those you preach. You don't have to admit to it as I (and everyone else) knows you won't. You need some people skills bad. I've yet to see you in a thread that you did not come in and create disharmony.Bottom line. most divers have no use for a long hose. and by wearing one, it makes them look like posers
Yeah, well I'm not going down without a fight.Dryglove:Its only a matter of time before you will be assimilated, resistance is futile![]()

MikeFerrara:There are lots of things commonly done/used by technical divers that would be a big help to recreational divers. In some cases I'd say rec divers would benefit more than the technical divers.
