Ok. Is there somewhere special I need to look for tools to assemble/disassemble the second stage? Or are they standard

FWIW, my recommendation is to read the service manuals for the regulators you have and see what tools they recommend to service them. Frogkick has a good selection of manuals. In general Apeks second stages do not require any special tools (except maybe to remove the cover) to service them. However, some US Divers/Aqualung do require a special tool to adjust the orifice and lever height. Sources for tools are usually Scubatools and Herman.

Looking at the LX second stage manual I don't see any really necessary special tools. The Titan first stage (older model) only requires one special tool to assemble the HP stage. It can be done without the tool but it's a pain in the rear to do.

Herman, I remember in the Harlow book he shows a hollow shaft nut driver with a screwdriver inserted as an adjustment too. What regs is this needed for?

Hollow nut driver and screwdriver for the first and second generation plastic USD 2nd stages with fixed oriface and 1/2" port plug opposite.....and later metal 14 second stages.
.....I usually just jamb a flathead screwdriver against the seat carrier at the other end to prevent it from turning if I ever need to alter the lever height, which is usually only needed if you are transferring the guts to a new case or if someone else has messed with it.

Like FP said, the later plastic ones with the access port across from the hose. The barrel type like the LX don't use any real special tools, a couple of nice to have tools but pieces of plastic or wood do nicely. If you have one of the seconds with the port across from the hose, the nutdriver/screwdriver tool does make life easier but it can be done with a small wrench and screwdriver.
