used pony bottles

I am looking to make a watch box out of a pony bottle, Thinking 19 cubic feet. Was wondering if anyone knew the inside diameter? also where I could find a used tank or one that did not pass inspection? anything special needed to cut the tank if its aluminum?

Check your local recycling center to see if they have any failed tanks. Lot less expensive to buy local than paying for the shipping.
