I just don't log dives
chamber of commerce weather today in the upper keys(winds freshening tonight and for the next 5 days): warm sunny skies, light winds and nearly flat seas. underwater conditions were stellar as well. dive #1: the BIBB buoy B1(stern), minimal current, clean blue water viz 80-90+FT, water temp 77F @ 95-135FT. # 2: repositioned to the DUANE buoy D3(stern), once again nice conditions; light current, variable viz 70-90FT(dusty below 70FT), 76/77F @ 60-105FT. on both dives we had the cutters to ourselves, as good as it gets on these sister ships! love those props on the BIBB! pics courtesy of TIMG,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Great pics, especially the black and white with the huge barracuda.

Yes, very nice, It has been a long time since I've seen as many cudas there.

Thanks for the report. GREAT photos Tim - love the color at such depth!

Thank you CajunDiva. 10-17mm lens, getting as close as possible, bumped the strobes up a 1/2 stop.

Wow. Your trip reports and photos always make me wish I was there. The shot of the Spanish Hogfish in color with the largely B&W background and the shot of the two Green Morays and the Midnight Blue Parrot are just fabulous.

The 1st picture of the prop is particularly nice (they are all nice though).

Thank you sportxlh. The Bibb is a great dive if the conditions are right.

Thank you scubadada. The green moray on the left zipped out of there in a hurry, that was a one shot deal. I always like to shoot the flag on the Duane and look for different ways to include it in the composition.
