ok the swedge is the metal fitting at the end of the 2nd stage hose that connects the threaded fitting to the hose, does that explain the "swedge" better.
the metal fitting is sliped over the end of the hose and then it is crimped to the hose, which is supose to create a tight union between the fitting and the hose that is air tight, and snug. I can forward some pictures of the poseidon hose that separated after I get permission from the nav.

Is this due to the high IP of the Odins? I know it's an upstream 2nd stage. I tried to buy a yellow 7' hose for mine. Found they were unavailable from Poseidon. I did find one from A-Plus Marine in the Panhandle, but they didn't have the bleed off valve @ the swedge on the 2nd stage end so I bought a black Poseidon.
